Empire of the Wasteland: Locations
Aesir Academy - Aesir Academy is the legendary school where the youth of Turgaia were trained in both body and mind during the Zelyadrin Period.
Bellatrue - The main fall back position for the forces of the Kingdom of Demous. This fortress located in the mountains has sustained the people of Demous against even it's worse invasions.
Demous - The ruling city of the Kingdom of Demous. From the city of Demous, the Queen of Demous controls the bulk of the island continent with the same name. Called the Fountain City, Demous is famous for its fountains of iridescent water.
Dosalle - The growing port town known as the Loser's Masamune Garrison. This den of petty thugs and washed up dreamers is the stop off point for many of the people fleeing from the continent of Brooke.
Fala - The hometown village of Lilie Eldamor. Fala is the first town encountered by our heros that is under direct control by the Holy Cyrin Church. This is just one of the attempts by the Holy Cyrin Church to stem the power of the Zelyadrin Imperium and to flex their own muscles.
Fort Nizech - A small fortress to the south of Aesir Academy that was built by the Kartistans before the last Global Obsidian Explosion. About half the size of Aesir, if was deemed unfit for permanent habitation without extensive renovation.
Fudysia - The city on the Continent of Brooke where the group first lands and meets Velkan.
Garatin - The southern most fortress of the Kingdom of Demous, seized by forces commanded by the Reaper Ivy Stone for the Zelyadrin Imperium during the Zelyadrin/Demous War.
Hamatus - The easterm most fortress of the Kingdom of Demous.
Horin - The village where Garret first encounters Ivy and the story begins.
Jelsrin Valley Temple - A temple carved into the the side of narrow Jelsrin Valley walls. This anceint temple is staffed by temple knights, though they take their orders not from the Holy Cyrin Church, but from the Being of Obsidian Janik.
Kradok - The fortress city of Lord Protector Jacob Anderson that is used as the capital of the Northeast Protectorate.
Morishi - The largest of the Oriental Confederation's northern cities. Despite the great wealth acquired for the timber in the forests surrounding it, one of the few remaining sources of good lumber left on Turgaia, most of the people people are destitute, forced to live in tight spaces and squallor.
Muninn - The former administrative center for the kingdom of Kartistan, Muninn is one of the Zelyadrin Imperium's most distant and oldest fortresses. Housing a large number of Reapers and soldiers, this distant settlement has the potential to project the Imperium's power in the mostly lawless region and would serve as their base of operations in any attempt to take Arch Angel or the surrounding territory. Some have even speculated that if the Imperium itself collapsed, Muninn could continue on as its own independent nation. It has also been suggested that, due to its size and distance from the homeland, a commander with enough sway can easily break away from the Imperium and create his or her own nation. As a result, the Imperium changes commanders every six months and sends only their loyalest to lead.
Osladryn - The port city being reconstructed by Zelyadrin Regent Ashlyn Piermont to be the new capital of the Zelyadrin Protectorate. The Regent, whose mind was enthralled by the tales of the ancient Mage Knights who made their home in this city, gathered the greatest architects in the Imperium to create a city which blends the ruins of the city of Osla with a modern city.
Pelis - The main city of the Kingdom of Pelis. It is from this city that the Council meets to discuss how to rule Pelis and its three mainly autonomous regions. Know as the suspended city, Pelis is famous for being entirely constructed on an ancient metal platform suspend by arms built directly into the sides of a gorge.
Port Carolyn - The largest port city on the continent of Brooke. Port Carolyn was an independent city, but it was heavily influenced by all of the major powers of the time and was never in the position to expand its own independent power.
Saihuk - The provincial capital of one of the Oriental Confederation's poorest regions. Wartorn and unstable until very recently, it is the home of the House of Trinh, leaders of the Doge's opposition in the Council of Houses.
Saljoun - The present capital of the Zelyadrin Protectorate on the continent of Brooke. The original village still exists, but the bulk of the city is a massive military base containing Vetula construction and government facilities.
Soravos - The northern most fortress of the Kingdom of Demous.
Stigragore - A top secret Imperium base that contained a copy of the Reaper Codex, the only usable batch of Chawla's mysterious serum, and research pertaining to the ultimate plans of the Zelyadrin Imperium.
Suyaro - The seat of power for the Far East and the Oriental Confederation. This city is where the Doge/Dogaressa and his/her family rules after being elected by the two hundred and fifty seven member Council of Houses.
Telith - The Temple Complex that is deeply beseiged by a massive outbreak of the disease known as Amaterisa's Touch.
Telnarins - The region located between Pelis and the Zelyadrin Protectorate.
Welkinshire - The fortress city of Lord Protector Nassim Akbar IV that is used as the capitalof the Northwest Protectorate.
Zelyadrin - The industrized seat of power for the entire Zelyadrin Imperium. Besides being the home base for Emperor Belial, Zelyadrin contains the military and Reaper Central Command, and the facilities for Zelyadrin's mysterious sorcerer.
